Serving Size: 1 cup
2 whole pears
3 cups water
1⁄4 cup Truvía Nectar
1⁄4 tsp salt
2 cups quick oats
1⁄4 cup slivered almonds
1⁄2 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla extract
Peel, wash and cut pears into cubes.
In a medium saucepan, combine pear cubes, water, Truvía Nectar, and salt.
Bring mixture to a boil over medium heat.
Once a boil is reached, stir in oats, reduce heat and cook for 1 minute.
Remove from the heat, stir in almonds, cinnamon and vanilla extract.
Cover and let stand for 2 minutes.
Enjoy once cooled.
