On-the-go breakfasts are a thing! With everyone rushing in the a.m., manufacturers are coming up with all kinds of convenient breakfasts to eat in the car, on the train or when walking down the street. Now, there’s one that you can feel good about eating.
We recently received samples of the new Nature’s Path Organic Sunrise Breakfast biscuits to try for ourselves. Here’s what you need to know about them.
The biscuits come in three delicious flavors: Dark Chocolate & Coconut, Blueberry & Chia and Touch of Honey & Chia. (Touch of Honey is my personal favorite!) The biscuits not only taste great, they’re nutritious too. They’re made with whole grains and fiber-rich seeds like chia.
A serving has 230 calories, 20 grams of whole grains, and 4-5 grams of fiber and protein, which can help you stay fuller, longer. And, unlike many other breakfast cookies and biscuits, these won’t blow your daily added sugar budget. Eat them on their own, or spread nut butter on them for a twist. I like them with Greek yogurt for a more protein-packed breakfast.
As you probably know, Nature’s Path products are all USDA Certified Organic and Non-GMO Project Verified. They are also vegetarian and are known for their sustainability efforts. The company has been making nutritious hot and cold breakfast cereals for some 30 years, and has continued to expand into other categories like frozen waffles, bars and cookies.
This is a sponsored post by Nature’s Path, the largest certified-organic breakfast and snack food company in the United States. Nature’s Path has been making some of our favorite breakfast cereals for more than 30 years.
