I recently bought some of these chips for an in-class snack for my community college students (it’s nice to nosh while others are presenting their reports at the end of the term!) and boy, did they go quickly! By the time the box came around to moi, all that were left were crumbs. Tasty crumbs, but crumbs nevertheless.
Luckily, I had tried a few before I let the box out of my hands. They’re really tasty! And you don’t need to dip ’em to enjoy ’em.
Blue Diamond Baked Nut Chips are made from almonds and whole-grain brown rice. They are baked, not fried, and therefore nearly all the fat in them is from the natural oil in the almonds. (They have between 3.5 and 4.5g fat per serving—less than potato chips.) Baked Nut Chips are vegan, gluten-free (each production run is tested to make sure gluten levels are less than 20 ppm), Kosher, peanut-free (and made in a peanut-free facility), soy-free and GMO-free. Each 14-15-chip serving has 130 calories.
