If you’re not feeling great about the way your swimsuit fits, don’t despair. There’s still plenty of time slim down and tone up this summer. One of the easiest ways to body swimsuit-ready is to to swap unhealthy between-meal noshes for wholesome, protein-rich snacks .
Since snacks contribute 25% of our daily calories (about 500 calories a day!), it’s essential that we make our snack calories count instead of reaching for nutrient-poor, calorie-rich snacks (read: candy, sweets, chips and dip) that don’t offer staying power.

And, if you stick with the portions we recommend, calories will be in check too. If you have enjoy two of these snacks for your typical between-meal noshes, we expect that you could easily drop five pounds in a month. Each snack provides protein or fiber (or both!) to keep you satisfied. They all have less than 200 calories too!
1 ounce (28 nuts) Blue Diamond Toasted Coconut Almonds (6g protein)

1 oz beef or turkey jerky (15g protein)
