As a CrossFit evangelista, I’ve been doing the constantly varied, high-intensity, functional movement-based training for nearly a decade.
I’m by no means “strong” by CrossFit standards, but the women of CrossFit give me inspiration ever day to work hard — in the gym and sticking to my healthy eating plan — to be my personal best.
As a recovered endurance athlete (triathlete, cyclist and ultra-runner), I’ve never been stronger or more fit — and empowered — than when I’m regularly doing CrossFit coupled with a few short trail runs. It helps you stop obsessing over the number on the scale and will become more focused on the lbs on your barbell. With time and effort, you’ll start to see real payoffs.

Here are three Crossfit women I follow on Instagram to help keep on track to reach my goals.
Tia-Clair Toomey: This Aussie powerhouse is the current Fittest Women on Earth and Rio Games Olympian. (Check out her ab routines on IG)
Brooke Wells: Three-Time CrossFit Games Athlete and Mizzou student
Katrin Davidsdotter: This Icelandic goddess was the Fittest on Earth in both 2015 and 2016.
